Sooo, the girls pulled an empty cupcake wrapper into their cage that I carelessly left on the table for a moment. I didn't notice until about fifteen minutes later when I went to look for my trash. They had each eaten about half of it, but I pulled some shredded remains out of the cage to much irritable meeping.

I am guessing they're probably fine, as it was just a paper wrapper with some cake crumbs on it, but I just figured I'd ask to be safe. They shouldn't be harmed if it is a one time thing, right?

I wouldn't worry about it. Most foods you eat are okay for rats to consume anyhow.

Yeah I wouldn't worry, eating a little paper and cake shouldn't hurt them.
