Hi, my baby rats has been sneezing for more than a week and i wondered if i have to take them to the vet? They dont seem to have any other symptoms Than sneezing so is it necessery to go to the vet? I really dont want to Go but if i have to i will.

I don't know a lot about rat health but from what I do know sneezing can mean a respiratory disease, or it can just be sensitivity from the litter you are using.

I use ripped up egg boxes so i dont think that is the problem, but i wondered if it was urgent and if i had to go to the vet?

You are using ripped up egg boxes as litter?, that may be to dusty, although I would still suggest going to the vet to get real advice.

Oh it is? I read about making your own bedding and they said it was ok. Well i guess i have to change it then.

It might be fine, I don't know for sure though since I don't use it, you can try to use something else as litter: Care Guide: Cage Bedding & Litter

But if the sneezing doesn't let up or if it gets worse, definitely bring them to the vet.
