While we were prepping dinner last weekend we gave the boys a raw brussel sprout. I assume they've eaten it as I haven't found it while I cleaned. I read earlier today that they shouldn't eat raw sprouts because it takes out thiamine and obviously now I'm full on paranoid mummy mode. They seem like their usual selves, and it's been 5 days since they were given it. All should be ok would you think?

My impression is that they will get sick if you continually feed stuff to them. I would think one accident wouldn't hurt them. I got taken aback when I read not to feed raw peanuts to the rats. I had been giving them as a treat for a week. I kept a vigil and they were fine.

Definitely agree, just thought best to check! Thankfully sprouts are only in the house around Christmas. And honestly I'm not a fan haha. Thanks for the advice :) It's a continual learning process I guess!
