Hi!
One of my rats has developed some sort of breathing problem. He sounds wheezy and it is not getting any better. I know this really depends on the type of problem he developed, but in general is there a treatment for breathing problems in rats or will a vet be unable to help me?

yes vets can treat "some" breathing problems

but unless you consult a qualified & experienced rat vet, you won't have a diagnoses of "what" the breathing problem is

& if you put off consulting the vet for too long... the breathing problem that "may" have been treatable may progress past where it is treatable thus making it possible fatal.
