I have a few rexes, but My boy Milo is losing hair. He is on a 15% protein diet, about 1.5yr old and the only one in a colony of 11 others (various ages, mixed sexes, standard and Rex coats) balding.

It's right on the back of his neck. No scabs. I'd suspect barberin by a cage mate but no one else is suffering it. Could he need a bath? They haven't had one since May ish. I know rexes bald but his father hasn't and none of the girls have.

At that age it would be fairly normal for him to be balding. girls aren't affected nearly as much as boys.

Rats don't need baths, is humans just think they do lol. Unless they have something on thete coat that isn't safe for them to eat they are better off without baths as they strip natural oils from the coat and skin

Does it start in patches? How bald do rexes get?
