Well, I've had my rats for around 2 months now, and one of them keeps running away when I walk in the room, he scurries to his tube EVERY TIME. It's making me kind of sad, is he going to stay like this? What can I do to make him trust me and stuff, if he always runs away? :(

maybe if you walk with a heavy step, he is getting frightened of the loud "boom" ( as i would imagine any small animal would hear it as a BOOM rather than a soft step)

if not, then just keep offering treats and play time and it'l come around.
make sure he knows you are a friend! especially a friend that has food

See... I've got my boys in the dining room. They're used to just about everything. Vacuuming, dropping plates, pans, the dog, loud guests, etc.

I've had a little experience with this. When she would run or look scared, I would kneel down, and sit there quietly and let her sniff me. Maybe you should also put a treat in your hand. Let him/her approach you at heir own pace, believe me it's worth the wait. :) Right now she is asleep in my lap. Good luck. :)
