My 6mth old girl Miss Big was acting a ittle strange at free roam this morning. I have never had a sick rat so I'm not so sure what to look for. She wasn't really interested in playing so she went back into the cage after a bit. She wen t upstairs and my fiancee offered her bannana and she took 2 bites and was done. Then he gave ger a honeycomb and she took 3 bites and left it. Then she curled up in her bed and went to sleep. She is usually so excited to come out and has to be herded in b/c she doesn't want to go back to her cage. Should I be worried? I don't want to wait to long to go to the vet. I don't have the money to go to the vet at the moment but will borrow if needed, I will not let her be sick. Please help.

I've noticed that sometimes my rats have off-days, just like people do. I'd keep an eye on her and watch for any additional unusual behaviour. If it persists then I would take her for a check-up.
