Sick?

So, now one of my rats, and only one so far, is acting quite lethargic and is breathing heavy, along with has some porphyrin around her nose. I'm afraid she has a respiratory infection, but we can't get any sort of medicine until Friday. We have amoxicillin to help for a bit, but I'm still not sure that's what it is, and I don't want to spend the 50 dollars on medicine if she needs something else. Help?

Upon further inspection, she seems to be trying to go as high as she can, kinda pointing her head into the air, and is definitely breathing heavy, breathing out with a puff of air. Whenever I open the cage she'll come running and climb right on, and doesn't want to go back in. And while she is a fairly social rat, never like this.

It does sound like a respiratory infection.I hope she will be ok til Friday.Baytril and Doxycycline are the Combe that are used unless she is under thre months, then Synulox. Not sure if amoxycyllin will help, hopefully someone will come on that knows.

She is right about three months, so, the Synulox will have to work. Thank you!
