Most of those have wire over the top, and long exposure to that could lead to bumblefoot.

My Acid girl had a small bit of it and she screeched anytime I touched the leg, so I gather it's very painful.

Any cage with wire on the bottom floor is not so good an idea unless you cover it with towels/some type of fabric.

They're not really anything, honestly. Slide out pans or drop-in pans are just a preference for the cage owner/animal. Whichever works better for you and your rat(s) :)

I prefer slide out pans, and honestly, my boys like the wire floor. I cover it up and they shove the fabric out of the way and lay on the wire. Go figure :roll:. I don't really like drop in because it's more of a hassle to clean, in my opinion, but if your rats like to burrow then drop in is the way to go.
