Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to be putting this up so soon after Christmas, but obviously I'm worried. Yesterday I had little Harley out, and this was not there. I had her flipped over for belly kisses and nothing. Today, I go for the daily clean up and Harley turns round, and this is there. As you can see it is very large and quite hard. My usual vets is not open until next week but I can get into an emergency vets. What do you think I should do?

Thanks in advance.

The lump.

that looks like a mammary tumor to me, but i could be wrong. sometimes they form really fast, and i know that from experience- both of my first rats formed tumors almost overnight. but if she had a wound there previously, it could be an abscess. if she seems to be in pain, stops eating, drinking, or moving i would most certainly see the emergency vet.

I think you should go to the emergency vet IMO. They can get quite big if it is a mammary tumor and if you want to get it removed the sooner the better. You could just monitor it until you can see your regular vet.
