Sometimes I find a good thing and I like to pass it along:
1. Sifting litter= I like to use Aspen flakes and its a good quality but I still felt it could be better. I took it outside and used a big plastic vegetable strainer, put in a big handful, started shaking it up and using my other hand to move it around in the sifter, and what a difference! there was dust flying everywhere and all the tiny particles fell through. It only takes a few handfuls and a couple minutes to get enough for a good sized litter box. And its like a different litter, doesn't leave dust in your hand when putting in the box.
2. Perfect Whisk Broom for Cages= Rite Aide has in their camping section a small wide whiskbroom for cleaning a tent. Its about $4 and well worth it, itworks great in small cages.
3. BBQ Grill Brush= I bought one and its exceptional for working on crusty cages to restore, or just giving a good scrub to the regular cage.
If I can think of any others I'll give a holler. If you got any good tips I'd be happy to listen.
