Is this an acceptable cage for female rats, aka the bar spacing?
Most females I ever own are on the smaller size, I don't want stuck head or escaping issues.

And does anyone have a good review for this cage or have one that can post pictures?

Re: Super Pet My First Home 2' x 2' Ferret Cage 3-

I've heard decent things about this cage, but I've never had one myself. I'm not personally a fan of any of those big Super Pet cages though, because the doors are too small, in my opinion.

As for the bar spacing, it depends on how big your girls are. I had a different Super Pet ferret cage with 1" spacing, and my 4 month old girl couldn't get out - but my 8-ish month old could (her head is much more streamlined). I think to be safe, it would be better to just get a cage with smaller spacing, or one that could be easily covered.

Re: Super Pet My First Home 2' x 2' Ferret Cage 3-

I actually have this cage and just replaced it for several reasons. Basically, Mana is right.

1. The bars to too wide for young or small rats.

2. The doors are tiny and it is a pain to clean and decorate.

3. Urine puddles on the levels and the plastic always seemed to absorb the smell.

4. The levels are solid plastic, so you cannot hang things from them.

However, There are things about it that I liked...

1. For adult rats, the bar spacing was nice because close bars always look messy to me.

2. It is a good size for two rats. (The rat calculator says four, but three felt too crowded to me)

3. It was small enough for me to carry by myself.

4. I could wash the cage in the sink (where I have to drag the new one outside and use a hose.
