Hello,

So i've recently gotten two male rats, Barbossa and Gibbs. When I have the boys out together, sometimes Barbossa will yank Gibbs' tail (either by biting or just pulling it). Often Barbossa will yank Gibbs tail if Gibbs is going somewhere without Barbossa. They were in the same litter and cuddle quiet a lot. My question is should I stop Barbossa from pulling Gibbs' tail? Thanks for taking the time to check out my post

okay thanks. I was just curios because my room mate is a vet tech and she said I should stop the behavior.

If they get to 3 or 4 months and is carrying on it could be problematic. Think of it like hair pulling in children. They need to learn themselves that is not on because you can't be there all the time
