My apologies but we won't be needing any advice my son's pet rat has just passed on. My son is taking it very hard crying and such. Trying to ease his pain of losing his first rat only had him for about 4 days but he got out of his bed and ran around the house ending up in the restroom where hot shot had been sprayed a few days ago for ants and roaches don't know if he had ingested something that had been sprayed or what but he is gone to rat heaven now so sad for my son.

I'm so sorry to hear this, it's a terrible thing to have a pet pass away, especially when you are so young. You have my deepest empathy.
