I was lurking Craigslist for weeks to see if something popped up, and out of the blue this past week, my local craigslist has exploded with such ads. I wish I could take all of the poor things in. There's been ads for a mother, her companion, and her litter after they bought a pregnant girl and decided they didn't want rats anymore, a another litters, an allergy case, somebody who was going to breed then decided they didn't want to, a couple of unexplained ads, and then today there were a couple more. just weird to me because this isn't very big place and I barely ever see rat ads. One of the ads today made me kind of sad. They were giving him away as a feeder because he didn't get along with the other rats. 
what is wrong with people!? I neautered my two boys for aggression and I didnt want a million baby's and risk my beautiful girls health with pregnancy and birth! Gah! I had seen a similar one for 4-5 month old babies selling them as pets or feeders because their son had put males and females in the same cage with 3 diff females.-
