It all started with making sure boys and girls at a local petstore were kept seperated, and finding a shaky rat in obvious need of a vet. I contacted potential owners and a rescue. I'd met the lady who runs the rescue when my own rat Harper was in for surgery. She not only took shaky girl, but her two cagemates as well! Don't know if this will show, but here's a pic of them safe in their new home. Nice soft fleece bedding, their best friends with them for the rest of their lives, and on the road to perfect health with cage bars instead of an aquarium for the first time in their lives. Saw this pic sent to me when I got home from work. What a perfect way to end the day!
