I just got my baby girls last week (Keiko and Sachi!) but want to see if I'm on the right track with their diet. I basically keep their bowl steadily filled with lab blocks and a grain mix. But at night I sprinkle about 1.5 teaspoons of mostly fresh veggies with some fruit bits thrown in the mix. They love it.. in fact, they'd take the veggies over fruit.
The thing is that I don't really notice them eating their lab blocks - I hope they're not just holding out for the fruits and veg. Their weight seems healthy. I've also been checking to make sure they're not getting runny stools, but that's all fine too. Are veggies supposed to be a treat or a staple? I'm sort of doing both but not so sure..
