I have a huge Rabbit hutch type cage with narrow bars( the only one I've ever seen) and I've been using towels to cover the floor. The little dickens pull and tear the s**t out of them and I'm getting tired of it. The cage has high walls and I can't clip the towel, or even weight it down. It would cost a fortune to use a package bedding so I rule that out.
Can anyone recommend any towel or similar type flooring that works and stays flat?

perhaps just putting down velco all along the edges of the floor will help keep the towel in place. i don't know if it will work as i've never tried it myself but i there is enough of it and its of the more heavy duty kind i don't think the rats would be able to pull it up as easily and that may deter them from doing if they already have loose towels that they can move around anyway.
