I was reading a book of bad translations. Very, very funny stuff.

Several hotels in different nations have advertised things like this:

"Special Room Rats Available."

(They mean "rates.")

Ever since I read this, I've been calling Gus and Boo my "special room rats."

I also call them "the house mouse."

We're big into nickmames, here.

That would be awesome! You could get wake-up calls by your room rat climbing all over your tummy and giving you kisses. And if you order room service, your room rat will be right there to taste the food and make sure it's good enough for you to eat. Of course, you'd have to have plenty of yogies on hand to tip them! Although they would probably accept some skritches instead ^_^
