I have a local specialty bird shop that bakes treats for birds. I buy the ones sized for conjures and cocktails, and they're the perfect size. Millet, oats, cashews, and dried fruits (non citrus). My boys fight over them all the time, and my Junebug likes to stash them and pretend she never got any so she can come back for another one.

Shelled walnuts. They will chase each other around the room, squeaking their heads off, trying to steal eachothers nuts. It takes them s whike to crack it open. Its good enrichment.

So far in the few days that I've had my rats, of all the treats I've been using, tuna fish seems to be the winner with one and berry Cheerios for the other one. They are also both loving the baby food I've been smearing on my hand.

My boys love baby food. Hard boiled and scrambled eggs as well. They actually tried to steal from each other. Same with chicken. My little guy Nemo loves everything and he is easy to please. The other 2 seem to not like the baby puffs.

Baby food and finger snacks. Hard boiled eggs. Chicken. Potatoes. They like blueberrys but don't like to actually eat them, just lick them. Every once in a while I will give them a chicken bone for their teeth. Cat good that doesn't have red dye in it. The list goes on. I try to give them something new once a week so they do not become picky eaters
