I have a two-year-old male rat an he has an upper respiratory infection. He has gotten two times before and we treated them with baytril and then doxycycline. It worked both times. However, can the infection become immune to the medication? Can we treat my rat any other ways instead? Please help!

There's azithromycin.

Infections can become resistant to certain antibiotics.
As nanashi mentioned other antibiotics for respiratory infections are azithromycin and there is also Amoxicillin.
How long did you treat for? And you mean that you treated him with baytril and doxy at the same time, right?
