I am still waiting for my bag of oxbow and i just ran out of my regular food. The power of five is really crappy and crumbles to nothing. So while i was out today i found this bag cheap as i didn't want to just get another bag of oxbow. Its expensive. The ingredients look ok and i mix it up with fresh vegetables, table scraps and fruit. Has anyone else tried this stuff? Is it any good?

I tried it but wouldn't buy it again. My rats didn't like a few of the different pellets so a lot of it went to waste. I also thought it smelled kinda rancid. Maybe yours will like it fine though.

Mines is fine, doesn't smell off at all and i put it in the fridge sealed for freshness. It must have been the mealworms that went bad for yours. Actually my rats love it. Some bits are just small and its messy. But Pilgore and Harold are liking it. Its a bit high in protein but they are young so they need the extra protein. I am surprisingly liking the mix they eat it off my hand and not just run into their cage with the food. The mix would probably be better for them and the oxbow when i get it. I can feed them less treats as there is mealworms in the mix so they don't need any protein treats.
