I've seen a lot of people talking about vet beds? From what I've learned so far is its like fleece and absorbent fabric then fleece so its kinda like washable bedding? I can't find much about it or what I could do for that as I think it would help me out quite a lot with my boy. Does anyone have any links for them or any fabric recs? I've seen zorb but as its expensive I want to see if theres any alternatives

It seems like a UK product: https://www.petlifeonline.co.uk/pro...bedding/vet-bed-original-dog-and-cat-bedding/

Amazon US sells it: Amazon.com : Vetbed

Etsy sells similar products: Vet Bed - Etsy as well as washable critter cage fleece liners with an absorbent layer.

Also this product: Enriched Life - Washable Floor Mat - Oxbow Animal Health

If all you want is something to absorb urine and is washable, try washable whelping pads fabric floor mats, dog crate pads, and incontinent (Human) bed mats cut to size. You could probably also make your own fabric liners with and put a puppy pad in between the two fabric layers to absorb urine.

What do you think you might need it for?

Vet Bed is just a thick mat of long synthetic (plastic) fibers attached to a rubberized backing. It has no absorbency. Rats would more likely tear it up than anything else and it would need to be washed very regularly.

I am using it for my elder boy who has HLD! He was starting to get urine burns because I couldn't clean up the pee as quickly as he was going, so I figured something like this would help.
