I was wondering what NOT To feed your rats because I know they can eat alot of things for treats but what isn't Ok. I read that apple seeds are bad from sadji's post so I was wondering what else?

I know onion and citrus fruits are bad due to the acidity levels being too high for rats stomachs.Also peanuts are supposed to be not so great as they have high protein and fat levels , but maybe a small un-salted one now and again wouldnt hurt.

I'm not trying to call you out or anything, but I've never heard of the acidity of citrus fruits being bad for rats. Can you let me know where you've found that out?

Same with onions. I've never heard of that.

I know citrus isn't recommended for males, and onion isn't good for dogs, but that's about it...
