So I have purchased two rats recently, the first is a hooded rat that goes by the name of Athena, and the second I am trying to figure out the proper terminology/variety for (Zelda). She is almost completely white but her entire face has a greyish tinge to it with very small blotches of black throughout. I am brand new to rat fancy and I was thinking that she was capped, would this assumption be correct? Anyone who can identify her would have my thanks! I have attached two photos for reference.

Definitely capped. I'm not sure about the color - possibly merle? I'm trying to get better educated on color and genetics, but I'm not an expert yet. However, she looks like a capped merle to me. I can't think of what else would cause those black spots.
