UPDATE: In a matter of 2 days the Vetericyn did it's magic. All clear! Starting to almost wonder if I was hallucinating.

Does anyone know what this is?

It reminds me of when a dog has a fresh eye booger still stuck in their eye... Could he have scratched himself? My other rat had it too when he was younger but it went away with Vetericyn...

I have been using Vetericyn Plus since yesterday on it once a day. He doesn't flinch from it or respond dramatically to the gel. He shudders sometimes as if he was cold.

We're going to the vet asap but i'd still like some help here..

Thank you!

Well, one of my (now deceased) rats had that white spot from an incident as a baby where he got scratched in the eye. And he lived fine, just you'll have to be a bit more careful. Sometimes we had to put eye drops on it if it got irritated (didn't happen a lot) sounds like you did a good job! Take them to the vet, but it's most likely either a stye or a scratch. Neither will do too much damage to their actual health.
