I have my boys in my bedroom as that's where I spend about 90% of my time home. I have a relatively old house and as a result the paint is pretty old in some spots, and a few areas are chipping, peeling, etc, and this room belonged to someone else before me who seemed to have... painted random portions of the walls different colors. I REALLY would like to paint over these areas, so not my ENTIRE room, but a few areas - none are right by their cage though, on the walls opposite to it mostly.
Would this be bad for them? I know scents can bother them, so I'm unsure if since it's small areas it would be fine, or if should I move their cage out of my room for a few hours. I worry because my house is starting to get super super cold and I don't want them to be scared/nervous about being in a new area.
